Consolidated Sterilizer Systems is a long-standing leader in the manufacturing of laboratory steam sterilizers (autoclaves) for the best universities, biotech, and pharma companies around the world. The Product Support Specialist delivers comprehensive, high quality support on Consolidated products. The Product Support Specialist will have a passion for problem solving, technology, and helping others to promote an amazing customer experience. This position requires frequent interaction with Engineering and Operations to develop a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Consolidated’s products. The Product Support Specialist also acts as principal liaison between the field service staff and other Consolidated personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively assess technical situations and establish case priorities/severities
- Analyze customer configuration and effectively use internal and external resources such as knowledgebases, user/admin manuals, and internet resources to troubleshoot the problem
- Effectively manage cases through multiple channels while documenting precise troubleshooting and customer interaction details
- Work individually and with a team to solve technical problems while communicating trending issues and best practices
- Reads and interprets equipment operation and maintenance manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings.

- Assist in the presentation of Powerpoint slides and technical knowledge to our field service technicians
Requirements:
- Three years of technical experience in medical device, biotech, or industrial hardware industry
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interact with team members and customers at all levels, and to document and articulate technical findings - Ability to deliver superior customer service
- Sound analytical and organizational skills
- Electrical/HVAC/wiring experience
- Must have competence in repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic technology to sufficiently diagnose issues.
- Ability to apply and adopt continuous improvement principles; seeks out efficiency gains
- Ability to use computer-based tools at a moderate to high level, including a strong working knowledge and command of
- Microsoft Office
- Able to lift 40 pounds
This is for a permanent full-time position to start immediately.
